ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has refiled a $10 million lawsuit against Michael Barrett and Nashville’s West End Marriott Hotel for a 2008 incident in which Barrett secretly filmed her walking around nude in her hotel room. The suit was originally filed last year, but was refilled so the statue of limitations would not run out.
The former Dancing with the Stars contestant is seeking a $ 6 million payout from the West End Marriott for allegedly telling Barrett which hotel room she was in and then giving him the room next to hers. Andrews is also asked for $4 million from Barrett.
The video Barrett filmed in 2008 was leaked online in 2009. Barrett was arrested and plead guilty to stalking charges in December 2009. He was sentenced to 2 1/1 years in prison and 3 years of probation in March 2010.
