4th of July Fireworks Display List of Events for Atlanta

Independence Day will offer several fireworks displays in Atlanta, GA this upcoming Saturday. Three celebrations will take precedent throughout the city’s metropolitan area.

The 4th of July at Lenox Square will take place at Atlanta’s Lenox Square Mall on Saturday at 4pm. The mall opens at its regular time at 10am, but most Independence Day onlookers get their in the late afternoon.

Live music starts at 6 pm with a set from The Regulars Band, followed by The Sons of Sailors at 7 pm and Party on the Moon at 8 pm.

The fireworks show, which is billed as "the largest fireworks display in the Southeast" will start at approximately 9:30 p.m. Attendance is free, but parking at the mall will be $10 after 6 pm.

The 4th of July Celebration at Centennial Olympic Park will begin Saturday at noon in downtown Atlanta.

Live music starts at 5 p.m. with a performance from Stokeswood. The Infinity Show Band takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. Vertical Horizon, the headlining act, will perform at 8 p.m. The fireworks show will start after dark.

Although onlookers are welcome to bring blankets and picnic baskets, they are prohibited from bringing glass bottles, grills, alcohol, weapons, pets and fireworks to the park. Bags are subject to search as well.

The Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain Park will take place all Independence Day weekend, beginning on Friday. The park is located east of Atlanta in Stone Mountain, GA.

The park will open at 10am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, the park’s attractions are open from 10am to 8pm. The Lasershow Spectacular will begin at 9:30, which ends with a fireworks display.

Parking costs $10 for the all vehicles entering the park. Attraction tickets are $9 each or $26 for an all-adventure pass. The laser show is free.
