Rise of The Planet of the Apes: starring James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox and Tom Felton. The sci-fi action film follows a scientist named Will Rodman as he tests a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease on an ape named Caesar. The cure causes Caesar to gain human-like intelligence. Caesar uses the cure to form an army of apes and start a war with humans. Rated PG 13
Kung Fu Panda 2: starring Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, Seth Rogan, Dustin Hoffman and David Cross. The animated comedy follows Po and his friends as their home and way of life is threatened by a villain who plans to destroy kung fu and take over China by using a mysterious weapon. Po and his friends must find the strength to stop the villain and save their country. Rated PG
Fright Night: starring Colin Farrell, Toni Collette, Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots and David Tennant. The horror film tells the story of a high school senior who suspects his new neighbor is a vampire. When no one takes his suspicions seriously, Charlie sets out to get rid of the vampire himself. Rated R
Circumstance: starring Nikohl Boosheri, Sarah Kazemy, Reza Sixo Safai, Soheil Parsa and Nasrin Pakkho. The drama tells the story of a wealthy Iranian family dealing with an out of control son just released from rehab and a daughter exploring her sexuality. Rated R
The Black Power Mix Tape 1967-1975: starring Erykah Badu, Harry Belafonte, Stokely Carmichael, Kathleen Cleaver and Angela Davis. The documentary features footage taken by Swedish journalists of the Black Power Movement in America. Commentaries from popular artists and activists are also featured. Not Rated
