GBH or Gamma-hydroxybutyrate chemical is classified as a depressant and sedative that affects the central nervous system. Although numerous products such as wine, citrus fruits and animal flesh. It is also synthetically produced and is popular with the younger age group active in the clubs and nightlife. Thus, GBH is also known as one of the happening ‘club’ drugs and ‘date rape’ drugs as the individual experiences euphoria and reduced inhibitions.
Usually available in a variety of forms such as tablet, liquid, powder and capsule, it is odorless, salty in taste and colorless. Though GBH is the chemical name, it is commonly known on the street as easy Lay, Scoop, Salty water, Home Boy and Gamma-Ho.
