American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino became a mom for the second time this week. Barrino gave birth to son Dallas Xavier Tuesday in North Carolina. A rep for the singer tells People magazine Dallas weighed in at 7 lbs., 9 oz. and measured 21 inches long.
"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support,” Barrino says.
The 27-year-old announced her pregnancy in August. She did not reveal the identity of the baby’s father. Barrino is also mom to a 10-year-old daughter named Zion.
