Lady Antebellum musician Dave Haywood got a very special early Christmas present – his girlfriend Kelli Cashiola accepted his marriage proposal. A rep for Haywood tells People magazine the singer popped the question Monday by spelling out “Will you marry me?" with Christmas lights on the front of Cashiola’s Nashville home.
People reports Haywood and Cashiola, both 29, have been friends for about 5 years. Their first public appearance as a couple was at last month’s CMA Awards.
Haywood is not the only engaged Lady Antebellum musician. Lead singer Hillary Scott is planning to wed fiancé Chris Tyrrell this spring. Third bandmate Charlie Kelley wed Cassie McDonnell in June 2009.
