Debra Messing has confirmed she is separated from her husband of 10 years, actor and producer Daniel Zelman. Messing and Zelman dated for eight years before tying the knot in 2000. They have a 7-year-old son named Roman.
A rep for the former Will and Grace star tells People magazine the pair “privately separated earlier this year.” The split was amicable and Messing and Zelman “remain supportive of another and committed to raising their son as a family,” the rep added.
No other details were released. Messing, 43, can be seen next on the NBC musical drama Smash.
