It looks like Kris Humphries’ plan to move on from estranged wife Kim Kardashian and focus on his basketball career is not going to be easy. During the New Jersey Nets’ pre-season game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday, Knicks fans repeatedly booed him and chanted things like “We want Humphries!”After the game, Humphries sarcastically commented that he didn’t hear any of it because he was so focused.
Humphries re-signed with the Nets on Tuesday. His 1-year contract is said to be worth $8 million. The 26-year-old made headlines in late October when Kardashian filed for divorce after just 72 days of marriage. The basketball star later responded to her petition by requesting the marriage be annulled on grounds of fraud. In an appearance on Good Morning America earlier this month, Humphries said he was ready to move on from Kardashian, 31, by focusing on work and family.
"Through everything I've just focused on family and preparing for basketball. Basketball is something I take really seriously and I continue to do that. You know, I'm just moving forward,” he said.
