Brigitte Nielsen Injured in Multi-car Accident

Actress and former girlfriend of Sylvester Stallone, Brigitte Nielsen sustained minor injuries Wednesday night when she was involved in a multi-car accident allegedly caused by a drunken driver.

Nielsen’s rep told E!News that a woman driving a Toyota Matrix ran into the back of the Porsche Nielsen was riding, causing it to crash into another car. The impact of the crash deployed Nielsen’s airbag, making her unable to move.

Nielsen was taken to a LA hospital for x-rays on her neck and spine. The Red Sonja actress is now at home resting; she is sore, but has not suffered major injuries.

The LAPD confirmed that the female driver of the Toyota was intoxicated at the time of the accident and was placed under arrest. The driver had her eleven year old son in the car with her at the time of the accident.

It is not clear if anyone else was injured.
