American Trainco, the leading provider of training for maintenance personnel, announced their 2012 class schedule.
“Over 125,000 students have attended our classes, and we are proud to have top-quality instructors that skillfully communicate a complex topic in a digestible format,” said John Schuster, president and CEO. “We modify our class schedule and update our curriculum each year so we can offer the seminars people need in convenient locations.”
The 2012 schedule runs from January through December. Over thirty-five classes will cover a wide range of maintenance-related topics, including air conditioning and refrigeration, boiler safety, electrical troubleshooting, and generators. Returning for 2012 is the company’s most popular course Basic Electricity for Non-Electricians, a class that teaches basic electrical concepts, operations, and safety to maintenance technicians who are not electricians but still need a firm understanding of the topic.
A new class in this year’s offerings is “Understanding and Using Electrical Test Equipment,” a two-day class that introduces students to various types of electrical meters, such as digital multimeters and gives them a grounding in what information each type of meter can provide, and how to use that information for maintenance and troubleshooting.
