A Separation, starring Peyman Moaadi, Leila Hatami, Sareh Bayat, Shahab Hosseini and Sarina Farhadi, opens in theaters Friday, December 30. The drama centers on an Iranian couple whose marriage is torn apart by their conflicting desires – Simin wants to leave Iran to find a better life for their daughter while Nader wants to remain with his father who suffers from Alzheimer’s.
The film has a runtime of 2 hours 3 minutes and is rated PG 13 for mature thematic material.
