Steven Tyler’s rumored engagement to longtime love Erin Brady has been confirmed by jewelry designer Loree Rodkin. According to Rodkin, Tyler asked her to create several options to choose from. The end result was a brilliant-cut, 5-carat diamond set on a on a diamond-and-platinum band.
“He was working, so I picked stones, built settings, showed him choices and sent him pictures on his phone. He asked for guidance but the choice was his. Having made jewelry for both Erin and Steven made it an effortless process, as I know their taste,” Rodkin tells People.
A rep for the jeweler added, “It’s one of a kind, like all of her pieces. Steven has been a client of Loree’s for many years, and often wears rings by her, as well as other jewelry.”
The American Idol judge popped the question while he and Brady vacationed in Hawaii over the Christmas holiday. The couple has been dating for 5 years. This will be Tyler’s third marriage. The Aerosmith rocker was previously married to model Cyrinda Foxe and clothing designer Teresa Barrick.
