In an interview with Matt Lauer on Friday’s Today Show, Giuliana Rancic opened up about her recovery from a double mastectomy. Although she returned to work at E! News just two weeks after the surgery, Rancic admitted she still feels some pain and requires help from husband Bill Rancic to get dressed and do other small things.
"I can't really turn much to put my seatbelt, he has to help me get in and out of bed, get dressed…it's a lot of limited mobility and pain," she revealed.
"I knew this was going to be a tough surgery but I in no way want to minimize it. Yes, I'm two-and-a-half weeks out, but up until a week-and-a-half ago it was hell. It was horrible," Rancic told Lauer.
The 37-year-old revealed her breast cancer diagnosis on the Today Show in October. She opted for a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery after lumpectomies and radiation therapy failed to remove the cancer completely.
