James Franco can now add novelist to his resume. The actor has signed a deal with Amazon Publishing to release his first novel. The book, titled Actors Anonymous, is loosely based on Franco’s life. No other details, including the release date, were announced. In June, Franco’s book of short stories, Palo Alto, was published by Scribner.
Franco, 33, most recently starred alongside Frieda Pinto and John Lithgow in The Rise of the Planet of the Apes. His upcoming films include Maladies, Cherry and Oz: The Great and Powerful.
