Rasheed Wallace joins the Boston Celtics

Rasheed Wallace signs with the Boston Celtics.  Wallace is considered to be one of the most valuable free agents out there.  This gives the Boston Celtics a chance to possibly return to the championships. 

According to the Boston Herald, Rasheed Wallace told his agent Bill Strickland to call off his meetings with the Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks.  The Boston Globe reported that this deal will include a two-year contract.

Rasheed is known for winning a championship with the Detroit Pistons in 2004.  He came in as a trade mid-season.    Wallace is 6-foot-11, and is known for his exceptional scoring skills and low block to the three point arc.
