Lance Armstrong will be fined for failing to sign in before Monday’s third stage for the Tour de France. As a rider you are required to sign in before every stage. Jean-Francois is the tour competition director, and he stated that Lance will be fined an estimated $92 dollars.
“We simply asked his team to have a respectful attitude toward the public”, says Francois. “They want to see the team, they have been here since 7 a.m. and they don’t see him.”
A team spokesman by the name of Philippee Maertens said Lance Armstrong was held up by doing interviews and signing autographs.
