You’ve all heard of survival of the fittest but do you really know what it means? Our definition of Social Darwinism is pretty simple; Only the Elite survive.
For millions of years, the evolution of life on earth has been primarily biological. From the first organisms developing on earth to the dinosaurs and neanderthals, our planet has always been one of great progress. With the rise of technology, the world has been able to find solutions to most of the issues that plagued societies hundreds of years ago.
One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men, but no machine can do the work of one extraordinary man. - Elbert Hubbard
When we coin the term, “Elite”, we refer to a mindset and not the stereotypical profile of the rich and famous. The Elite are those who strive to better themselves and everyone around them, those that recognize that you should keep your inner circle small, those who aspire for the finest things in life and understand the hard work that must come with them, those who are constantly striving to educate themselves and stay ahead of the competition and those who are natural born leaders.
Social Darwinism has a negative connotation in the sense that it is a belief that the fittest will survive and the rest should die. We believe in this definition to a certain extent. People should not die, but they allow their ambitions and hopes to.
In order to make it in this world and reside at the top of the food chain, you need to set yourself apart from everyone else. Conformity allows individualistic ambition and hope to die out. You can’t distinguish yourself if you’re the same as the next guy.
The food chain is a great example to use when describing Social Darwinism. Realistically speaking, a deer will never survive in the wild before a lion does. Need be, the lion will hunt the deer because it can do that. When you hold a high position of power, you emit intimidation upon all of those under you voluntarily or involuntarily.
Each honest calling, each walk of life, has its own elite, its own aristocracy based on excellence of performance., James Bryant Conant
We are not trying to teach you a history lesson, trust us. We just want to put emphasis on the fact that conformity is killing our generation. 1% of the world owns 40% of its assets. Why is that? Because people are power hungry assholes? Yes, but also because these people decided that they did not want to be at the bottom of the food chain, so they climbed their way to the top. Food for thought.
