The Ricketts family and the Tribune have reached an agreement concerning the sale of the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field.  This report was found on the Chicago Tribune website. 

On the Chicago Tribune website it quotes different sources saying the two finalized an agreement over the weekend and sent the contract to the Major League Baseball Association.  Baseball owners and a court must approve the deal, due to the fact that the Tribune Company is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  The rumored sale price is close to $900 million.
