Four California women sue Chick-Fil-A for sexual harassment

Four women ranging in ages from 40 to 18 have filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against a supervisor, the owner of the franchise and Chick-Fil-A.

The women allege that they endured two years of sexual harassment from their supervisor, Gustavo Angulo. On her abuse, Durate said that in one instance, “the manager putting me in the refrigerator and kissing me and touching me in a sexual manner.”

In another instance, one woman was ordered to apologize to the manager, who was also the perpetrator, after she was forcibly kissed and reported the abuse to the manger. In addition to the harassment the women faced retaliation.

The women sought out a sexualharassment attorney because Chick-Fil-A failed to address their initial complaints. They are seeking an undisclosed amount of damages.

The women also allege other abuses including battery, negligent supervision, hiring and retention, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Durate said, “I think I have the right as any human being to work without harassment. I want justice for myself and I want justice for my co-workers.”

A sexual harassment lawyer will make certain victims get justice. They will work tirelessly to gather evidence and prove the allegations.

When a victim of this behavior retains a sexual harassment attorney they can be certain they will have a vocal advocate and someone who will stand up for their rights.
