Infamous car salesman Cal
Worthington, 91, has thrown his estranged wife out of their Beverly Hills
mansion and taken away her luxury car, because he thinks she is going after his
money.
Before Cal married 42 year-old
Anna, he had enough smarts to have a divorce lawyer draft a pre-nuptial agreement. Under the agreement, Ana would only
receive $4,000 a month for six months and then after that she gets nothing.
Anna was thrown out of their Beverly
Hills mansion after she asserted that half of the home belongs to her since it
was a wedding gift. Worthington objected to this claim and threw her out of the
home. He took her Bentley and asked a judge to block her from going onto the
property.
Anna hired the divorce lawyer, who represented Kevin
Federline, Mark Vincent Kaplan, and wants to insure that “Cal doesn’t leave me
on the streets without the means to live.”
Challenging the pre-nuptial
agreement will prove to be difficult, though not impossible. It will take a
skilled attorney to have a pre-nuptial agreement overturned, as they are
intended to protect the assets of the parties involved prior to any troubles in
the relationship.
Even so, many people object to
pre-nuptial agreements because of trust and love. But a divorce lawyer can tell you that down the road you might regret not
having that agreement to protect them from a prolonged and nasty divorce.
