The world is aware of the old adage, “Money doesn’t buy you happiness.” This idea is indisputable, as evidenced by the masses of the unhappy wealthy. Iconic rap star Drake provides the public with a portrait of the world of a man who has it all, yet is still struggling to find happiness.
In “The Resistance”, from his debut album Thank Me Later, we join him in a mental debate in which he juxtaposes the luxuries of his lifestyle with the emptiness that celebrity life brings.
He’s “23 with a money tree”, but is constantly questioning “what am I afraid of? This is supposed to be what dreams are made of.”
This is not what we hold to be successful. We believe that they key is to find success and happiness while pursuing something you love.
Our team has collaborated and prepared a series of necessary elements of success:
1. Happiness
If you are not happy with what your doing then you are not truly successful.
2. Entrepreneurial Attitude
You should be constantly driven towards success. Keep your drive and hunger alive so you can seek what you love and, eventually, be your own boss.
3. Surrounded by positivity
Successful people cultivate positive qualities in others. Work and surround yourself with people that are motivated and will keep you constantly motivated. There should never be a pause button on your path to success.
4. Go to sleep thinking about work, wake up with ideas
The title explains it all. You will never settle and your mind will always be racing. Providing sufficient time to brainstorm the future keeps you on the track to success.
5. Giving back
The truly wealthy indulge in philanthropy, recognizing that their success has been built on the backs of others.. This cannot only be achieved by writing a check. Seek to cultivate success in others and, eventually, you might find an invaluable partner who will further your own success.
6. Thank God for everything
We’re not saying to be a rabbi or a priest over here but just give the power above a simple thanks for all the blessings and opportunities you have been granted because there are many that are not as fortunate.
