As a liaison between genders, I feel its necessary to tell you what women find attractive. To help you, but also to help us. Because when more of you are “in the know,” there are more of you readily available for the picking.
My tip of the week is this: get a damn education. Because it’s attractive and because it will probably get you a lot of ladies in the long run. Having intellect and being knowledgeable is one of the sexist things to us women.
Hey, remember the last time you heard a girl say, “Oh my god, I picked up the hottest guy at McDonald’s this weekend!”
Yeah, me neither.
But other than not having to work in a McDonald’s, having an education comes with plenty of perks. Women find knowledgeable men attractive. Here’s why:
Knowledge is sexy
Do you really want to be one-upped by that guy who knows all about wine, toasts dinner with some obscure quote from some obscure book written by some obscure author, and generally provides useless but impressive information at all the right times? No? So become him! And master him.
Note: There is a fine line between knowledgeable and pompous douchebag. Don’t be that guy who makes random comments about politics and economics during a conversation about something completely different.
Having an education will bring you money
And women like money. Women like fancy cars and fancy clothes. We like to be wowed. And having money will allow you to dress to impress. Money is a great thing. Yeah, yeah, ordering takeout and watching a movie is cute sometimes, but you know what’s a lot hotter? Surf and turf.
We like to show off
We like to show off what we have, including our men. A girl is much more likely to show you off to her friends if you’re a law student with a fine pair of tailored slacks than if you’re a “free-spirit” with a part-time job and those awful baggy shorts that hang somewhere below your knee and your ankle.
You can be adorably Philanthropic
If you’re educated and have money, you can impress her with the gift of giving. Nothing is more attractive than a man who cares!
None of this may sound like the “fun” route in life, but I promise you it will pay off. Look at all those unnattractive men out there with hoards of beautiful women at their sides. They got there by being dorks in high school, filling up on knowledge, and finally inventing some really complicated technology or investing in the right company.
Filmmaker John Waters said, “We need to make books cool again. If you go home with somebody and they don’t have books, don’t fuck them.”
