Bing officials to speak at Sundance to talk about video and internet marketing

On the night that the Sundance Film Festival kicks off an official from the festival and a speaker from Bing will address a group of internet marketers from Utah to discuss the role that video plays in online marketing.

Bing, which is owned by Microsoft has a 30 percent share of the search engine market is a major sponsor of the Sundance Film Festival.

Speakers will focus in the role that video plays in legal internet marketing. Billions of videos are viewed online each week. A business or law firm that includes videos as a part of their marketing campaign can reach a wider audience.

Bing Program Manager Tony Ma said he will discuss how video has changed the legal internet marketing landscape. He will talk about how video is used by Bing to determine search results. Major search engines, including Google, have constantly adjusted the way they evaluate a page’s ranking, and video plays an increasingly important role in a business’s prominence in search. Ma will also discuss the ways a business can use video to get noticed.

Internet users are not just looking at frivolous things in the internet they often search for educational information on millions of different topics, including legal issues. A legal internet marketing campaign which utilizes video can dramatically increase a business’s presence in search. Video along with other valuable and informative content is crucial for a firm to reach new potential clients.
