Packer said that Representative Hastings told her she was not being a “sport” and that he had come to her as a “man to a woman” and was upset that she filed complaints against him. Packer also said that Hastings was drunk and tried to get her to go to his hotel room, when she said no her then asked for hotel room number which she refused.

Hasting has denied the allegations.

Sexual harassment attorneys know how detrimental this behavior is to the subject of harassment and will do everything in their power to put an end to it. Sexual harassment lawyers can intervene when the allegations are not addressed by superiors.

When a sexual harassment lawyer is retained, the victim can seek compensation from their employer and the harasser for their emotional suffering and lost wages if they have been fired.
