Barking up the Wrong Tree Radio Interviews Rachelle Salerno of Von Salerno German Shepherds

Las Vegas, NV - Barking up the Wrong Tree, a weekly radio program hosted by Daniel Hect and David Michelangelo, will interview BreedersUSA January 2012 Breeder of the Month Rachelle Salerno. The program focuses on dog training, behavioral and health issues and can be heard on KLAV AM1230 on Saturdays at 12:00p.m. PST.
Special guest Rachelle Salerno of von Salerno German Shepherds was honored by BreedersUSA for her leadership, devotion, and support of the German Shepherd Community World Wide. In just ten years of breeding, Salerno has become a world class breeder whose dogs have competed in Germany, Italy, the United States, Mexico and many other countries. Her German shepherds are bred to be family dogs, as well as, working and show competition dogs, possessing outstanding temperament, and come from the finest proven bloodlines from around the world.
Show host David Michelangelo has worked with both domestic and wild animals during his career as an animal handler. As a master dog trainer in Las Vegas, Michelangelo works with a wide variety of breeds. In addition to his animal experience, he is a former kickboxing champion.
Co-Host Daniel Hect is also a well-established breeder and trainer of German shepherds. He is also an experienced Schutzhund (protection dog) trainer and has trained dogs for several law enforcement agencies around the country. Hect helped to found BreedersUSA in 1999 and serves as its president. He is also the CEO of the Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame and a multi-discipline black belt.
BreedersUSA is an online pet community, now in its 12th year, that provides comprehensive listings of American Kennel Club-compliant dog breeders. Each month the organization chooses a breeder as its Breeder of the Month. Daniel Hect, President of BreedersUSA and a top breeder of German shepherds, has final responsibility for the choice.
