Michael Jackson's Private Funeral Held at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park Tuesday

The family of Michael Jackson gathered at the Forest Lawn Memorial-Park in Hollywood Hills, CA for Jackson’s private funeral Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. PT (11 a.m. ET).

Four black Rolls-Royces and a half dozen shiny black Escalades were at the Jackson compound in Encino to accompany guests to the cemetery, according to People.

The family will head to the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles for the public memorial and tribute in Jackson’s honor, which will begin at 10 a.m. PT (1 a.m. ET).

Forest Lawn Memorial-Park & Mortuaries are known to be a burial location for several celebrities, such as Sammy Davis, Jr.; Freddie Prinze; John Ritter; and most recently, David Carradine.

Jackson was survived by his three children Prince, Paris and “Blanket”; his parents Joe and Katherine; and his eight brothers and sisters Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, LaToya, Marlon, Randy and Janet.
