Dyax Corp said it would sell 7.4 million common shares at $2.02 a share in an underwritten public offering with no warrants, and expects to raise net proceeds of about $14 million. The company said it has granted the underwriter, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc, a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 1.1 million common shares to cover over-allotments, if any.

Dyax Corp., a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, engages in the discovery, development, and commercialization of biotherapeutics for oncology and inflammatory indications. The company uses phage display, a drug discovery technology to identify antibody, small protein, and peptide compounds for clinical development. It offers DX-88, an ecallantide, which is in late stage clinical trial development in two indications.
