Savoy Energy Corp. (OTCBB: SNVP) to Explore Gas, Oil in Fiji

Savoy Energy Corporation (OTCBB: SNVP) announced Thursday that it has been granted a registration to undertake gas and oil exploration in Fiji.

Savoy Energy Corporation's joint venture, Savoy-Masi Petroleum Corporation Limited, recently met with Netani Sukanaivalu of The Republic of Fiji Islands Ministry of Lands & Mineral Resources to discuss the stimulation of the Fiji economy through oil exploration licenses, recompletion, and working over previously drilled wells. Fiji reportedly could hold up to 1 billion barrels of oil.

Additionally, Fiji Islands Trade and Investment Bureau granted Savoy-Masi Petroleum a Foreign Investment Registration Certificate (FIRC) number 09-0081 issued under the provisions of the Foreign Investment Act 1999 and the Foreign Investment (Amendment) Act 2004 to undertake Oil and Gas Exploration.
