C - Citigroup’s Lacerda Quits Bank to Pursue ‘Personal’ Interests

Ricardo Lacerda, head of Citigroup Inc.’s Brazilian investment-banking unit, will leave the U.S. bank to pursue “other personal and professional interests.” Lacerda will still work at the bank for a transition period and will be replaced by Fabio Bicudo, Otavio Guazzelli and Jairo Loureiro, managing directors at the Brazilian investment banking unit, Citigroup said in an e-mailed statement.

The provider will donate its Qualcomm Deployable Base Station (QDBS) to the ITU. The "compact, easy to operate" base station, worth close to US$500,000 will boost the capacity of the ITU to deploy mobile
