GreenHunter Energy Inc. continue trade substantially through its financial year as the renewable energy company reported a net income of $4.45 million for its second quarter, but deals with a nearly equal loss for the first six months of 2009, ended June 30.
GreenHunter, which focuses on wind development projects, biomass power generation and the production of biodiesel, reported Aug. 14 a net income of $4.45 million to shareholders for its second quarter 2009, ended June 30, with a total revenue of $1.7 million for its second quarter 2009 compared to a revenue of $468,000 for the second quarter of 2008.
