The PMI Group, Inc. makes an announcement that its two executive promotions in its leadership team. Andrew D. Cameron was named Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Mr. Cameron previously held the position of Group Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Mr. Cameron joined PMI in 1998 and became Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 2006.

Prior to PMI, Cameron was Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and prior to that, an associate at Morrison & Forster, both in San Francisco. He received his JD from the Columbia School of Law where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. Cameron is a member of the State Bar of California.
