ADC Telecommunications ,ADCT ,SPRINT & ADC Telecom lead stocks mostly higher

ADC Telecommunications, Inc- is a provider of broadband communications network infrastructure products and related services. The Company’s products offer solutions enabling the delivery of high-speed Internet, data, video and voice communication over wireline, wireless, cable, enterprise and broadcast networks.
These products fiber-optic, copper and coaxial based frames, cabinets, cables, connectors and cards, wireless capacity and coverage solutions, network access devices and other physical infrastructure components.
Shares of Sprint Nextel Corp. and ADC Telecommunications Inc. were the top gainers in the telecom sector Tuesday as most stocks rose in early action, partly recovering from Monday's selloff. Sprint S 3.79, -0.06, -1.56% climbed 2.1% to lead the phone group, while ADC ADCT 9.07, +0.06, +0.67% jumped almost 5%.
Other equipment makers such as Ciena Corp. CIEN 13.29, +0.48, +3.75%, Ericsson ERIC 9.24, -0.11, -1.18%) and Tellabs Inc TLAB 6.29, -0.18, -2.78% also rose by 1% to 2%. Among the few decliners was Verizon Communications Inc. VZ 30.18, -0.10, -0.33%), down a few pennies, and Qualcomm Inc. QCOM 45.22, +0.07, +0.16% , which dipped 0.2%.
