United Parcel Service Inc UPS, Withholds Overtime Wages from Account Managers


United Parcel Service announced that it has been withholding as much as $100 million in overtime wages from the account managers whom the Company employs throughout the Country. That's the accusation at the heart of a class action lawsuit filed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California in San Diego by the law firm of Sanford Wittels & Heisler, LLP. 

It also announced that its Board of Directors today declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share on all outstanding Class A and Class B shares. The dividend is payable on September 9, 2009, to shareholders of record on August 24, 2009.
