Sanofi-Aventis SA.,SNY-Witness process simulation implementation saves £1.4 million

Pharmaceuticals manufacturer Sanofi-aventis claims that it has now accomplished its Witness process simulation implementation at a major UK site, following phase one, which saved £1.4 million of inventory in six months.
The new system, from Lanner, is being utilised to optimise change in production methods at Sanofi-aventis' Fawdon site, with drug packaging shifting from 10kg boxes to 300kg mass containers.
