Albuquerque-based
mortgage broker Indigo Mortgage reportedly put up the most humorous sign just
days after the accident. This banner was inscribed with the rather witty slogan:
“Rates are so low… People are crashing to get in.” This sign was placed
directly over where the damage was done. Fortunately for Indigo Mortgage, the
damage was minute in scale and no one was hurt. Talk about turning what could
have been a tragedy into a rather hilarious form of marketing triumph.
In
providing insights into how the event was turned into a positive, Indigo
Mortgage’s President Benjamin Lucero for stated, “I am
thankful that the damage was not severe and that no one was hurt, but there is
some irony in people crashing to get their hands on these low interest rates
that we offer in the current market. It was a way to show that we have a sense
of humor and also want more home buyers and home owners to know that this is
the time to take advantage of some of the lowest mortgage interest rates in
decades.”
His
words are true with the current market interest rates at al-time and even
