Microsoft and Yahoo have signed an agreement to join forces against Google in Internet searching. The signing was scheduled for late October but was delayed while details were decided upon.
The plan, announced Friday, makes official the terms of a preliminary discussion announce in July. The projected partnership; however, must be approved by government regulators; however, before they can begin work together.
Microsoft will begin powering Yahoo’s search engine early next year provided the government approval goes through. Even after the deal is completed and approved of, google will still be processing twice as many search requests as their competitors.
