January 2, 2014 10:30 AM PST  Arrayit Corporation (ARYC) reports record trading volume in the fourth quarter of 2013.  A total of 10,513,480 common shares of ARYC traded between October 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013, representing more than half of the company’s approximate 18 million share float. 

Arrayit common stock recorded successive trading volume increases in all four quarters of 2013, with 1.1, 3.2, 7.8 and 10.5 million shares traded, respectively, in Q1-2013 through Q4-2013.  The 10.5 million share trading volume in Q4-2013 represents a 950% trading volume increase over Q1-2013, and corresponds to a series of positive announcements by the company during the year including financial support from legendary small cap investor Irwin Zalcberg, two rounds of equity financing totaling $0.175m and $2.1m, the appointment of Wall Street biotech expert Sid Taubenfeld to the Arrayit board, the selection of DOCRO for CLIA and ISO laboratory certification and OvaDx® 510(k) submission, the addition of renowned IR/PR expert John Nesbett of Institutional Marketing Services (IMS) as the company’s IR/PR firm, the addition of Phil Reuben of the prestigious law firm Ruben, Firsel and Ross as General Counsel, the commencement of earnings conference calls in Q3-2013, projected double-digit revenue growth and increased earnings for fiscal year 2013, the addition of key technical staff, and the expansion of Arrayit into new corporate headquarters located in Sunnyvale, California, USA.
