Del Mar, CA – Mundus Group (MNDP) subsidiary, Airstar is in communication with Canadian based Altitude Inc. The two companies are joining forces to provide aerial imagery & data collection technologies for the geological survey industry.
Altitude will supply 3D analysis software for Airstars, Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV’s). Airstars, UAV’s, have the ability to hover over rugged terrain and uses GPS satellites to lock onto precise controlled flight plans.
Current methods of fixed wing surveys are less accurate than the technology provided in the partnership, as current methods fly at higher altitudes and higher speeds. Airstar and Altitude will provide environmental engineers with greater predictability with regards to sensitive ground water, faults, construction of roads and mining interests.
