Town officials in Avon, Indiana are demanding that Andy Mohr Toyota pay roughly $230,000 for zoning and planning fines. The dealership is located on US 36.
Andy Mohr held a temporary occupancy permit for the facility in December 2005. An extension was filed to complete unfinished work and the permit was extended to Nov 12, 2006 but the work was not finished.
The fine is determined by a $1,000-a-day fine for incomplete work beyond the deadline.
