Are you a Florida resident that can’t afford health insurance? There are millions of children whose parents cannot afford the high health insurance premiums that are offered by private insurance companies. Do you currently like the coverage you have in place for yourself or family? You might want to take e a closer look at Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton's new health care plan. Her American Health Choices Plan would cover everyone in the United States. Her form of Universal Health Care has everyone debating on the subject and is the biggest issue facing Candidates of the 2008 Presidential election. "She will cover all of America, with rates that all citizens can afford" said Kirsten Portrie, A Florida Health Insurance Agent.
A Florida based health insurance agency, FloridaHealthInsuranceWeb.com, in its' on going series of tracking the 2008 Presidential Candidates and their policies of health insurance legislation has found many likes and differences from the various Democratic Candidates. Kirsten Portrie in a phone interview today said "a few of the candidates, Former Senator John Edwards and Senator Hillary Clinton have the strongest health plan proposals, but I still lack the confidence in how they are going to pay for their programs". Hillary Clinton's American Health Choices insurance plan seems to be getting the most attention from all sides of the media. Many supporting Hillary Clinton believe that her program has "great promise", but still many are very skeptical. Florida health insurance consultant Kirsten Portrie also added, 'if you are one of the millions of Florida or United States residents without coverage, Hillary Clinton's plan might be a great fit for you. It gives you options to keep the your current private health insurance plan, or pick from her coverage that would cover all pre-existing conditions, all while offered at an affordable premium.
Hillary Clinton's health insurance proposal would be "Affordable: Unlike the current health system where insurance premiums send people into bankruptcy, the plan provides tax credits for working families to help them cover their costs. The tax credits will ensure that working families never have to pay more than a limited percentage of their income for health care. Available: No discrimination. The insurance companies can't deny you coverage if you have a pre-existing condition. Reliable: It's portable. If you change or lose your job, you keep your health care".
Are you a Florida resident that has been denied health care coverage? With Hillary's new American Health Choices Plan "Insurance companies won't be able to deny you coverage or drop you" based on your pre-existing medical conditions. That seems like the only fair solution for such a civilized society? "Families will have greater security in knowing that if they become ill or lose their jobs, they won't lose their insurance coverage"
Many of the new health insurance proposals provided by the 2008 Presidential Candidates must be examined with great authority. We all know that something must be changed with our broken health care system, but whom and how are we going to do this? Will it be the private health insurance companies lowering their costs by cutting profit margins? or will it be the new President making changes within our legislative system? These questions, along with many others will be answered in the days to come. One last note, said Portrie "Americans will have the choice of taking a Universal Health Care plan with many of these Candidates proposals or keeping their current private health insurance. I don't think there would be a problem with this notion, but who is going to pay for it? That is my biggest concern".
