Bus Accident in Southern China Kills 25 as Winter Weather Worsens

The winter weather storm that has pounded southern China claimed another 25 lives on Tuesday when a bus carrying 38 people lost control on an icy road and tumbled 40 yards into a valley in the Guizhou province.

Southern China has been crippled by ice storms and strong snow blasts that have led to blackouts and treacherous road conditions.

Over the past two weeks at least 50 deaths have been blamed on the weather.
