A severe storm blew through Atlanta Friday night leaving damage in its wake. At least two holes were ripped in the side of the Georgia Dome. Glass windows in the CNN and surrounding buildings were busted. Damages were also reported at the Omni Hotel, Philips Arena and Westin Hotel.
According to reports, roof tops were ripped off several apartment buildings in the downtown area. An Atlanta fire official told 11 Alive news that dozens of people were injured. No fatalities have been reported.
The National Weather Service has not confirmed that the storm was a tornado.
