Flooding in Midwest Leaves at least Four Dead

The heavy rains that began falling on Monday continued through Tuesday, leaving residents in Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, and Indiana to deal with massive flooding throughout the central region.

 

As much as 10 inches have fallen and the severe weather resulted in American Airlines canceling all flights into and out of Dallas-Fort Worth Airport yesterday.

 

With creeks and rivers overflowing streets quickly became swallowed by the oncoming current and people were left scrambling to escape their homes. At least four deaths in Missouri have been linked to the flooding while there are still several missing in Arkansas and Texas.
