At least 13 people have died and several have been trapped due to the heavy flooding that has swallowed much of the Midwest over the past week.
The massive flooding that has hit part of Arkansas, southern Illinois, southern Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri has devastated the Midwest region and many expect the problems to worsen before things get better.
Throughout the region communities have been swept away and major cities have been hit by hundreds of millions of dollars in damages to roads, bridges and buildings.
Missouri has had at least five deaths related to the flooding while another five died in Kentucky when heavy rains caused a traffic accident. Two bodies were found in Illinois after their truck was swept off a rural road. In Ohio a 65-year-old woman drowned after flood waters overtook her when she went to check on a sump pump at her house.
