Body Found In Atlanta Tornado Rubble

Authorities say the body of a man was found Saturday as workers were clearing rubble from a building damaged in a tornado that ripped through downtown Atlanta March 14.

Officer James Polite said the unidentified man may be “first tornado victim in the city of Atlanta.” They are still waiting for an autopsy from the medical examiner.

Workers were using a Bobcat to clear the rubble when the saw a hand sticking out of the debris. Police brought two cadaver dogs to search the debris for other bodies but found none.
