Devastating storms ripped through parts of Texas, Oklahoma and Michigan on Wednesday leaving at least one dead and more than 50 injured.
Homes were destroyed while trees and power lines were scattered across streets and yards.
In Breckenridge, Texas several houses were slammed by what was believed to be a tornado. The town that sits 125 miles west of Dallas was left without power while the hospital was operating on emergency backup power.
The storm travelled through north Texas and into Oklahoma where one woman was killed after her car skidded off the road and hit a pole during heavy rain storm. Several tornados were reportedly spotted across the state yet no damages could be tied to the twisters.
Michigan was also touched by a reported tornado as the dangerous weather ran through the southwest portion of the state leaving minor damage but no reported injuries.
