Arkansas Storms Blamed for Death of 15-Year-Old
A 15-year-old girl from Siloam Springs, Arkansas was killed early Friday morning when heavy storms sent a tree crashing into her house.
The teenager had been sleeping in her bed around 4:30 a.m. when the heavy rain and powerful winds rolled through the area. Her brother had been sleeping in the same room but he only received minor injuries.
Several tornadoes have been spotted along the Arkansas – Texas border and the storms have left extensive damage to property and power lines throughout the region.
