The expanded agreement will allow American Express to use Points.com’s technology to support their Membership Rewards bonus points program.

 

The American Express Membership Rewards program is an industry-leading rewards program, with more than 140 redemption partners which allows card members to earn one point for every dollar charged on eligible, enrolled cards. Membership rewards points are redeemable in a wide selection of reward categories, including travel, retail merchandise, entertainment, and shopping - and now the Points.com technology will enhance American Express’ Membership Rewards bonus point’s capabilities, enabling merchants to offer specific bonuses to American Express Card members.

 

According to the agreement, American Express will participate on the Points.com consumer portal, providing membership rewards enrollees with access to additional loyalty partners. Points International will also continue to provide integration services and technology for the membership rewards program, including facilitating online transfers of membership rewards points into other loyalty programs.
