General Automotive Company (GNAU) shares are recovering from yesterday’s slide, up 14 percent to 72 cents Wednesday morning. General Automotive provides state-of-the-art original equipment, aftermarket automotive parts, mobile electronics, and related products at multiple levels of distribution across the United States and internationally.

“Recently, General Automotive reported financial results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2008.  Revenue rose 51 percent to $4.07 million from $2.69 million in the 2007 first quarter.  Gross profit for the 2008 first quarter was $345,000 compared to $482,000 in the prior-year period.  The company recorded a net loss of $504,000, or 7 cents per diluted share…”

“Marketing Worldwide Corp. (MWWC) shares are at 26 cents, no change from the previous close at the same price.  Marketing Worldwide provides automotive accessory programs for installation on new automobiles. The company recently announced its financial performance for the first half and second quarter of its fiscal year ending September 30, 2008.

“Net sales for the six-month period ended March 30, 2008, increased by $623,454, or 14 percent, to $5 million, compared to $4.4 million for the same period in fiscal 2007.  For the second quarter ended March 30, 2008, net sales were $2,293,480, an increase of $51,689 or 2.3 percent, compared to $2,241,791 for the second quarter of fiscal 2007.”
