More than 10 inches of rain has been dumped on central Indiana causing flooding and evacuations. The National Weather Service issued flash-flood warnings in 15 counties on Saturday.
The Coast Guard has rescued residents from flooded homes and evacuations were issued for several areas. Highways have been closed and several damns are close to collapsing.
The first floor of the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin has been flooded. Cars submerged up to the windshield have been reported.
